I was talking to someone recently about where to buy AAA goods in Japan. The thing is, if you're looking for Official Goods, they're typically only buy-able at concerts, live events, and/or online. The Avex Building does, on rare occasion, offer fun artists goods in their store (like snacks from a vending machine), but other than that, it's really hard to find AAA things that aren't DVDs or magazines, etc.
I go to Harajuku. I lived about a ten minute walk from there last semester and used to walk there all the time with my sister just to relax. There's always tons of people, but there's something really special about the air of the place. It just feels good to be there, if you know what I mean! And Alex and I spent such a while in Tokyo and visiting Harajuku, that we actually ended up becoming familiar with a good number of the shopkeepers anyway, so we liked to visit them. On one of our last days in Tokyo before returning home for our summer break, one of the idol shop workers who always saw us looking at/buying AAA things, had a nice chat with us about the band. Evidently she's a fan too! ^_^
But I guess what I mean to say is that AAA goods can DEFINITELY be found in Harajuku. I'm sharing some pictures of some of the AAA goods I bought while out there, and if you are a long-term member of
Here's some pictures~
^This is my pre-Shin collection--now I have all of the members and Miura too. <3
There's a really warm feeling in just being able to walk into an idol shop and look at your favorite celebrities~ <3 Good luck looking for your AAA things! (^_^)v
